We’re looking for a creative and data-driven Content Marketer to join our growing marketing team. You’ll be the engine that fuels our content strategy, developing and executing engaging content that informs, educates, and entertains our target audience. With a knack for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, you’ll craft content that resonates across various channels, attracting new leads and growing our brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning:
- Conduct thorough audience research to understand content preferences and industry trends.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop a data-driven content strategy aligned with business goals.
- Plan, create, and curate high-quality content calendars across various formats (e.g., blog posts, website copy, social media captions, email newsletters).
- Content Creation & Execution:
- Write compelling and informative content in a clear, concise, and engaging brand voice.
- Partner with designers and videographers to develop creative visual assets to complement written content.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic reach and discoverability.
- Content Distribution & Analysis:
- Publish content across various marketing channels and social media platforms.
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools to track engagement, reach, and conversions.
- Analyze content performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize future content strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest content marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum X years of experience in content marketing, journalism, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content in various formats.
- Proven understanding of SEO principles and content optimization strategies.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) (a plus).
- Familiarity with social media content creation and scheduling tools (a plus).
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- A creative and curious mind with a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points
- Experience with content marketing tools and platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, BuzzSumo) (a plus).
- Experience with video editing software (a plus).
- Experience with a specific content format (e.g., podcast production, infographic creation) (a plus).
- Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for each platform (a plus).
- Experience with email marketing automation tools (a plus).
