The Role

We are seeking a data-driven and analytical Web Analyst to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting website traffic data to gain insights into user behavior, website performance, and marketing campaign effectiveness. Your insights will be used to optimize our website, improve user experience, and drive business growth.


  • Design and implement a comprehensive website tracking plan using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Collect, clean, and analyze website traffic data to understand user behavior (e.g., user acquisition, page views, conversion rates).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards marketing goals and objectives.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement based on website traffic data and user behavior analysis.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to optimize website elements and user experience.
  • Generate reports and data visualizations to effectively communicate website performance and user insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web analytics trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams (e.g., SEO, content marketing, PPC) to optimize campaigns and website content based on data insights.
  • Provide recommendations for website improvements based on user data and best practices.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum X years of experience in web analytics or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics tools and data analysis platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel).
  • Excellent understanding of website traffic data, user behavior metrics, and common web analytics concepts.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) (a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and campaign management tools.
  • Experience with SQL or other data querying languages.
  • Experience with user experience (UX) research methods.
  • Experience with heatmapping and session recording tools.
