The Role
We’re looking for a talented and passionate Video Game Developer to join our growing development team. You will play a key role in bringing our game concepts to life by contributing to various aspects of the development process, from design and implementation to testing and iteration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, artists, programmers, and other developers to translate game ideas into a cohesive and engaging game experience.
- Depending on your specialization, you may focus on:
- Gameplay Mechanics: Design, develop, and implement core gameplay mechanics, systems, and features.
- Level Design: Create engaging and challenging game levels that provide a fun and rewarding player experience.
- Technical Art: Bridge the gap between art and programming by creating game assets that are both visually appealing and technically optimized.
- Animation: Craft high-quality animations that bring characters and objects to life within the game world.
- User Interface (UI) Design: Design intuitive and user-friendly menus, heads-up displays (HUDs), and other UI elements that enhance player experience.

- Work with the chosen game engine (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) to implement your designs and integrate them seamlessly with other game elements.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in game development technologies and design concepts.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation to ensure smooth collaboration and future reference.
Qualifications
- Minimum X years of experience as a Video Game Developer or a similar role in the game industry (experience requirements can be adjusted based on the specific role).
- Strong understanding of game design principles and a passion for creating engaging games.
- Proficiency in the core aspects of game development relevant to your specialization (e.g., programming for gameplay mechanics, 3D modeling for technical art, etc.).
- Familiarity with a relevant game engine (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) (a plus).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Bonus Points
- Experience with specific game genres relevant to the studio’s focus (e.g., RPG, FPS, etc.) (a plus).
- Experience with additional software or tools commonly used in game development (e.g., 3D modeling software, animation tools, level design tools).
- Portfolio showcasing your relevant skills and experience (e.g., game projects, art samples, code demos).
- Strong understanding of current gaming trends and player preferences.
