The Role
We’re seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our development team and play a key role in building and maintaining the robust foundation of our applications. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the server-side logic that powers our user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and secure backend systems.
- Build and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange between applications.
- Develop and optimize databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues to maintain application stability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging backend technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer (minimum X years).
- Proficiency in backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, PHP, Ruby).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (optional, but a plus).
- Solid understanding of web application architecture (e.g., RESTful APIs).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) (optional, but a plus).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
