The Cloud Architect
We are searching for a skilled and passionate AWS Developer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, deploying, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your expertise in AWS services and best practices will be essential in building secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions to support our growing business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Develop and maintain well-documented, modular, and reusable code for cloud applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Configure and manage security best practices within the AWS environment (IAM, security groups).
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and debug cloud-related issues to ensure application uptime and performance.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AWS services and features.
- Collaborate with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum X years of experience developing and deploying applications on AWS.
- Strong understanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
- Proficiency in scripting languages commonly used with AWS (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and AWS security services (IAM, KMS).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
Bonus Points
- Experience with container orchestration technologies (e.g., ECS, EKS) (a plus).
- Experience with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda (a plus).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments (a plus).
- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch) (a plus).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional (a plus).
