We are searching for a skilled and results-oriented SQL Developer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. Your expertise in SQL and database management will be essential in transforming raw data into actionable insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient and scalable SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Write complex queries using advanced SQL techniques (joins, subqueries, functions) to retrieve and analyze data.
- Optimize database performance by creating appropriate indexes and views.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures and functions to automate data manipulation tasks.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data validation and cleansing processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective SQL solutions.
- Document SQL queries and procedures clearly and concisely to ensure maintainability.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in SQL and database technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum X years of experience working with SQL as a primary data query language.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts (normalization, data integrity).
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, and window functions.
- Experience with database administration tasks (user management, security, backups).
- Familiarity with data warehousing principles and ETL processes (a plus).
- Experience with a specific relational database management system (e.g., MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL) (a plus).
- Experience with data visualization tools to explore and analyze data retrieved with SQL (a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Azure SQL Database) (a plus).
