The Role
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Web Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining our web applications and websites. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to bring our online presence to life.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate design mockups and user stories into functional and responsive web pages.
- Develop and implement well-structured, maintainable, and testable front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or a relevant framework like React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Ensure website responsiveness and optimal user experience across different devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
- Optimize website performance for speed and efficiency.
- Integrate with back-end APIs and services to deliver dynamic content and user interactions.
- Write clean and efficient JavaScript code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug web development issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
- Contribute to the documentation of code and development processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum X years of experience as a Web Developer or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Proficiency in using browser developer tools for debugging and optimization.
- Experience with responsive web design (RWD) principles.
- (For experienced roles) Experience with a front-end development framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) (a plus).
- Understanding of accessibility best practices (WCAG) (a plus).
- Basic understanding of back-end technologies (e.g., APIs) (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- A passion for web development and a commitment to continuous learning.
Bonus Points
- Experience with UI/UX design principles (a plus).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) (a plus).
- Experience with build tools and automation (e.g., Webpack, Gulp) (a plus).
