We are searching for a skilled and results-oriented MongoDB Developer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining our MongoDB infrastructure, ensuring our data is stored, managed, and retrieved efficiently. Your in-depth knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL principles will be essential in optimizing our database performance and scalability to support our growing business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement data models using MongoDB best practices.
- Perform complex queries and aggregations to extract valuable insights from data.
- Optimize queries and database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Manage database security and access controls to safeguard sensitive information.
- Automate database tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Collaborate with developers and data analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in MongoDB features and functionalities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal documentation for the MongoDB environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum X years of experience working with MongoDB as a primary database solution.
- Strong understanding of NoSQL data modeling concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in writing efficient MongoDB queries (find, aggregation framework).
- Experience with database performance optimization techniques (indexing, sharding).
- Experience with data security best practices and access control mechanisms in MongoDB.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for data manipulation and automation (Python, JavaScript preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Bonus Points
- Experience with MongoDB administration tools (e.g., MongoDB Compass, MMS) (a plus).
- Experience with cloud-based deployments of MongoDB (e.g., MongoDB Atlas) (a plus).
- Experience with data replication and high availability configurations (a plus).
- Experience integrating MongoDB with application frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Spring Data) (a plus).
