The Coding Apprentice
We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Web Developer to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced developers and contribute to the development of our web applications and online presence. Your strong foundation in web development fundamentals and eagerness to learn will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior developers with the design, development, and implementation of web features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug basic web development issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest web development trends and technologies.
- Assist with content management and website maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with designers and other team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) (a plus).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A passion for learning and a willingness to grow as a developer.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Bonus Points
- Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, Python) (a plus).
- Experience with web application frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) (a plus).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (a plus).
