The Role
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive sales, and build customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Management:
- Plan, develop, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns across the customer lifecycle (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart, promotional offers).
- Craft compelling email subject lines, preheader text, and email copy that drive engagement and conversions.
- Design and build visually appealing emails using email service provider (ESP) templates or HTML.
- Schedule and send email campaigns at optimal times to maximize open rates and click-through rates.
- List Management & Segmentation:
- Grow and maintain our email subscriber list through opt-in forms and lead generation campaigns.
- Segment email lists based on subscriber demographics, interests, and past behavior to personalize email content.
- Ensure email lists are clean and up-to-date to maintain good deliverability rates.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze email campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) using email marketing analytics tools.
- Generate reports to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and inform future email marketing strategies.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, email content, and call-to-actions (CTAs).
- Collaboration & Integration:
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, and other marketing team members to develop cohesive email campaigns.
- Integrate email marketing efforts with other marketing channels (e.g., social media, website) for a holistic omnichannel experience.
- Stay up-to-date on email marketing best practices and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum X years of experience in email marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of email marketing principles, campaign strategies, and best practices.
- Experience with email service providers (ESPs) like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or Klaviyo (a plus).
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling and concise email content.
- Proficient in email design principles and comfortable using ESP templates or basic HTML.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret email marketing data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
- A passion for marketing and a commitment to continuous learning.
