The Role
We are searching for a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing team. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to understand business needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct in-depth business process analysis to identify areas for improvement, automation, or optimization.
- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements through user interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
- Develop clear and concise user stories, use cases, and functional specifications to communicate requirements to development teams.
- Work with solution architects and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Identify and manage project scope, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate potential solutions.
- Develop and maintain business process documentation for future reference and training purposes.
- Participate in the selection and implementation of new technologies and business systems.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure a smooth transition to new processes or systems.
- Monitor and analyze the impact of implemented solutions and recommend further improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum X years of experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively gather and document business requirements from diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN) (a plus).
- Experience with user story development and user experience (UX) principles (a plus).
- Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) (a plus).
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques (a plus).
Bonus Points
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to your company (a plus).
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, BABOK) (a plus).
- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and data visualization techniques (a plus).
- Strong SQL query writing skills (a plus).
