The Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Laravel Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust web applications using the Laravel framework. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver innovative and user-centric web solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement efficient, scalable, and secure web applications using Laravel and its ecosystem.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into well-structured and maintainable Laravel code.
- Utilize core Laravel functionalities like Eloquent ORM, routing, middleware, and authentication to build robust web applications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to Laravel coding standards and best practices.
- Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and application functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high standard of code within the codebase.
- Troubleshoot and debug Laravel applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Laravel, its ecosystem packages, and security best practices.
- May contribute to creating and maintaining technical documentation for Laravel applications and APIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- X years of experience as a Laravel Developer or similar PHP web development role.
- Strong understanding of PHP programming language (syntax, object-oriented programming, design patterns).
- In-depth knowledge of the Laravel framework, its core functionalities, and best practices.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like Eloquent.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential for full-stack development.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is essential.
- Experience with deployment tools and processes (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Laravel Forge) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality code.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with Laravel authentication and authorization features (e.g., Laravel Sanctum, Laravel Passport).
- Experience with Laravel queues and asynchronous tasks (e.g., Laravel Horizon).
- Experience with Laravel caching mechanisms for improved performance.
- Experience with building APIs using Laravel (RESTful APIs).
