The Role

We are seeking a talented and results-oriented Application Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our business applications. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality applications on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze problems, and define application functionalities.
• Design and develop new software applications using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code according to best practices.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application functionality and performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to resolve issues and optimize performance.
• Maintain and update existing applications to address new requirements and evolving technologies.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
• May document technical specifications and user guides.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• X years of experience as an Application Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and relevant frameworks.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points

• Experience with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with API integration.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
